Most nationals including UK nationals need a visa to travel to Mongolia. A Mongolian visit visa is usually valid for a stay of up to 30 days within three or six months from the date of issue. You can extend your visa up to 30 days once within six months. We provides assistance in obtaining tourist, private, transit and business visas for Mongolia.
The Embassy of Mongolia currently provides one service - one week.
They accept applciationts Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (October 1 to March 31) and Monday – Friday (April 1 to September 31).
The Mongolian Border Agency will collect biometric data (scanned fingerprints) on your arrival.
Covid-19 Update:
Please note that the following infection control procedures apply when traveling to Mongolia. These include:
- A PCR test must be performed 72 hours before boarding.
- People who have not been vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus or who have received the first dose will be isolated for a week, so they will need to book and pay for accommodation. Information on the detention center is available at www.tabinfo.mn.
- If the PCR test is positive, the person will be hospitalized.
- If the first and second doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been given for 14 days, and the Covid-19 virus has healed and the antibody test has increased, isolation is not required (Note: You must carry the above-mentioned test results and medical certificate).

- Double entry visa allows one person to enter and exit Mongolia twice.
- Mongolian visas are issued with 90 days validity from the date of issue.
- The Mongoliam Embassy has the right to change prices and requirements without prior notice.
